I have been a professional groomer since 1985. I graduated from "Peticular Grooming Academy" in 1984. My first job was at Sandy's Pet Grooming in Moreno Valley in 1985. I worked there full time for 11 years until 1996 when I bought the business, changing the name to Debbie's Dog Salon. I ran that business successfully for 13 years and in 2004 I added Mobile Grooming Service. In 2008 I went full time to Mobile Grooming.
When people ask me why I became a pet groomer I tell them when I first heard of the job when I was about 11 years old I thought, "Wow, what a great job, people get paid to groom dogs!" I have always been an animal lover and I still agree with with that 11 year old, this is the best job in the world, even after 35 years of it.
